Join us for a chance to meet up with fellow graduate students at the Margaret Mead Film Festival at the American Museum of Natural History. The first 30 students to RSVP will receive a complimentary film ticket and are invited to join us after the film/s for drinks and food at Tacombi.
Free and open to any anthropology graduate student in the New York area! You can choose to attend one of the following screenings:
Partition at 4:30 pm
Consisting entirely of documentary footage captured during the British occupation of Palestine (1917-1948), Partition subverts the colonial archive. Director Diana Allan will be in attendance.
OR
Darren Aronofsky presents Viktor at 4:30 pm
Barred from enlisting in the Ukrainian army due to his deafness, Viktor heads to the frontlines with his camera. Director Olivier Sarbil and the protagonist of the film will both be in attendance.
